LAHORE: The Lahore Division Boxing Association conducted trials to select male and female players for participation in the National Games.

The trials were held at the Wahdat Boxing Club which saw a significant turnout of players from Lahore Division’s four districts i.e. Lahore, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib and Kasur. The selection committee included Olympian boxer Faisal Karim, international boxers Rana Mujahid, Amjad Ali Khan, Tariq Mir, and former national champion boxer Saleem Lal.

Selected players in the men’s categories: 60kg: Ehsan; 55kg: Arbaz; 60kg: Muhammad Ali; 65kg: Ibrahim; 70kg: Abdul Rasheed; 75kg: Imran; 80kg: Ali Asghar Jutt; 85kg: Ahmed Raza and Shehryar Ghazi; 90kg: Abdullah Mujahid.
