LAHORE: The Sir Sabz Baba Guru Nanak International Kabaddi Cup, a tri-nation tournament being organised by the Pakistan Kabaddi Federation, is scheduled to begin here in Lahore from April 16 at the WAPDA Sports Complex.
The Iranian kabaddi team has already landed in Lahore, with the Indian team expected to arrive within the next two days. The three-day event, named in honor of Baba Guru Nanak, will feature elite kabaddi teams from Pakistan, Iran, and India competing for glory. Officials of the Pakistan Kabaddi Federation warmly welcomed the Iranian contingent upon their arrival at Allama Iqbal International Airport.
All arrangements for the prestigious tournament have been completed under the leadership of Chaudhry Shafi Hussain, Provincial Minister for Industries and Trade and President of the Pakistan Kabaddi Federation.
According to Secretary Rana Muhammad Sarwar, Chaudhry Hussain played a pivotal role in ensuring the successful hosting of the event by gaining the cooperation of officials from the Iranian and Indian Kabaddi Federations.
