QUETTA: In the wake of the recent suicide bombing at Quetta Railway Station, the authorities have decided to suspend the Jaffar Express and Bolan Mail services for four days, starting from Nov 11.

Officials said that the step was taken due to heightened security concerns across Balochistan.

According to the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), a case has been registered with the Railway Police against unknown individuals. The charges include murder, attempted murder, and terrorism-related offenses. This action follows the tragic suicide bombing on Saturday at Quetta Railway Station, which resulted in the death of 27 people and injuries to over 62 others. Authorities are intensifying security protocols and investigations to prevent further incidents.
