SUKKUR: The district administration on Sunday in a joint operation with police on sealed an illegal filling station of LPG and arrested five accused.

The Ghotki deputy commissioner confirmed that an illegal filling station of LPG had been sealed and a case was registered against five accused involved in illegal supply of LPG. The accused included Abdul Samad, Zafar Lodha, Niazi Ahmed, Tanveer and Gharib Nawaz.

The deputy commissioner said that carbon dioxide was being used to increase weight of LPG in the Ruck Farm area of Ghotki, adding that an explosion had occurred in Multan due to the mixing of carbon dioxide in the LPG.
