RAWALPINDI: Lahore High Court (LHC) Justice Chaudhry Abdul Aziz has resigned from his post.

Justice Aziz has resigned due to personal reasons. The resignation letter addressed to the president states, “I was appointed as a judge of the Lahore High Court in November 2016.

During this time, I decided about 40,000 cases, but now due to some personal issues, it is difficult for me to discharge the responsibilities of a judge. Therefore, I resign from my post under Article 206(1) of the Constitution. My resignation should be accepted.”

It should be noted that Justice Aziz is one of the important judges who hear criminal cases. Justice Aziz belongs to Rawalpindi and before becoming a judge, he was considered one of the most competent lawyers.
