KARACHI: Pakistani-origin entrepreneur and CEO of Data Vault, Mehwish Salman Ali, has announced the establishment of an AI Innovation Center in Karachi in collaboration with international partners. The initiative aims to accelerate AI startups, foster innovation, and integrate Pakistani AI solutions into the global market, according to a press release issued on Friday.

The project, unveiled at the International Digital Cooperation Forum (IDCF) hosted by the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) at the Dead Sea, Jordan, is expected to attract foreign investment and strategic partners.

“The AI Innovation Lab will provide facilitation, resources, and mentorship to entrepreneurs in the AI sector worldwide, contributing to the global technology landscape. This initiative aims to position Pakistan as a leader in AI development and technological entrepreneurship”, said Mehwish Salman Ali.

Representing Pakistan at the 4th General Assembly of the IDCF, the Data Vault CEO shared the stage with global industry experts. She emphasised Pakistan’s pivotal role in sourcing world-class AI talent and its growing contributions to the global AI ecosystem.
