LAHORE: For the first time in history, a decision has been made to establish shooting clubs on commercial basis.

Reliable sources told “Daily Jang” licensing procedures for commercial shooting clubs are being prepared. Those who are fond of aerial firing will be able to go to the shooting clubs and practice firing weapons.

This will help control the incidents and losses caused by shooting for fun.

The sources said amendments are being made to the Arms Rules, under which license fee will be made reasonable for lifting the ban on commercial shooting clubs. The license fee of arms dealers will also be made appropriate.

The amendments will help reduce the prices of ammunition.

The proposals for amendments to the Arms Rules have been prepared, the approval of which is expected in the next few days.
