LAHORE: Former President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) and prominent business leader Muhammad Ali Mian has commended Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for his proactive approach in attracting investment and strengthening Pakistan’s diplomatic ties by engaging with global leaders during Eid.

In his statement, Muhammad Ali Mian emphasised that Pakistan is moving in the right direction under the PM’s leadership. He highlighted that the prime minister’s economic policies are aimed at fostering a more business-friendly environment, facilitating both local and foreign investors, and promoting trade expansion — initiatives that will yield positive outcomes for the national economy.

He further remarked that the Prime Minister’s consistent engagement with global leaders is reinforcing Pakistan’s foreign policy and enhancing its global standing. His discussions with international counterparts during Eid reflect Pakistan’s strong commitment to strengthening diplomatic and economic relations worldwide.

Mian stressed that overcoming Pakistan’s economic challenges requires close collaboration between the government and the private sector. He urged the LCCI and other trade bodies to work alongside the government in developing strategies that drive economic growth and benefit the business community.

Expressing optimism, he said that under the prime minister’s dynamic leadership, Pakistan will continue to advance economically and solidify its presence in the global market. He also called on the business community to fully support the government’s initiatives and actively contribute to the country’s economic stability.
