LAHORE: In a highly anticipated match marking Germany’s first visit to Pakistan for hockey in 21 years, the German junior hockey team emerged victorious against the host nation, Pakistan, with a final score of 4-3. The thrilling encounter, part of the Friendship Cup, took place at the DHA Lahore Hockey Arena.

The match was a display of exceptional skill and spirited competition, with the Pakistani junior team putting up a strong fight against their German counterparts. Pakistan’s captain, Abdul Hanan Shahid, delivered a stellar performance, creating numerous scoring opportunities. However, the German team’s strategic play ultimately led them to victory. Pakistan scored its three successful strikes through Abdul Hanan Shahid, Rana Waheed, and Hamza Fayyaz each scored one goal. While all the four goals of Germany were scored by their forwards. Ben Hasbach scored two goals.
