LAHORE: The Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) has announced the captain, vice-captain, and team management for the Pakistan Women’s Blind Cricket Team ahead of their landmark international tour to Australia.

This historic tour, spanning from April 17 to 26, will feature a five-match T20 International series against the Australian blind team in Brisbane.

Nimra Rafique, hailing from Rawalpindi, has been named as captain of the team. A former student of the Government High School for Blind Girls, Shamasabad, Rawalpindi, Rafique is currently pursuing her BS degree at Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi. She brings leadership and determination to the team as they embark on this pioneering tour. Supporting her in leadership will be Nisha, who has been announced as vice-captain.

The PBCC Chairman, Syed Sultan Shah, has also confirmed the management team for the tour: Abdul Razzaq – Head Coach, Ms. Bakhtawar Iqbal – Assistant Coach, Ms. Shahida Shaheen – Trainer, Ms. Rabbia Javaid Hashmi – Team Manager.
