LAHORE: The Pakistan Karate Federation (PKF) has ushered in a new era with the election of its leadership for the 2024-2028 term during its Elective General Council Meeting held at the Olympic House, Lahore.

Representatives from all affiliated units — Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Sindh, Islamabad, Police, Army, WAPDA, Railways, HEC, Referee Karate Association, and Women Karate Association — attended the meeting.

The newly elected officials are:

Chairman: Mr. Muhammad Jahangir, President: Chaudhary Ahmad, General Secretary: Ms. Andleeb Sandhu , Treasurer: Mr. Khurshid Khan

The election process was monitored by Hafiz Imran Butt, representing the Pakistan Olympic Association, ensuring the elections were conducted transparently and in compliance with organisational regulations.

In his inaugural address, President Chaudhary Ahmad emphasised his commitment to the sport’s growth and development.

“We will make every effort to explore and nurture young talent, aiming to bring laurels to Pakistan.”
