LAHORE: PTCL Group (PTCL and Ufone 4G), in collaboration with Pink Collar, a women-centric executive job placement platform, organised the Pink Collar Women Career Fair on Thursday to bridge the gap between talent and opportunities for women in Pakistan.

Leading organisations participated in the career fair, offering women a unique opportunity to explore job prospects, gain insights into career growth and connect with key private sector companies. The event underscored the shared vision of PTCL Group and Pink Collar to empower women through financial independence and professional development.

PTCL Group’s flagship women’s empowerment initiative, ‘Dil Se Ba-Ikhtiar’, was a key feature of the expo. The initiative provides women entrepreneurs with digital resources and training to help them establish and grow their online businesses. Women trained under ‘Ba-Ikhtiar’ displayed their products at the fair, inspiring others to follow their lead, realise their full potential, and contribute meaningfully to society.

Speaking at the event, PTCL & Ufone 4G’s Group Chief Commercial Officer Syed Atif Raza highlighted the importance of women’s participation in the workforce, stating: “Empowering women is not just a moral imperative but a strategic necessity for the growth of our economy and society. PTCL Group enables and equips women to overcome barriers to financial inclusion and social mobility. Our collaborations with thr PPAF to introduce ‘Ba-Ikhtiar’ and the launch of Pakistan’s first women’s job fair with Pink Collar are testaments to our commitment. We will continue to drive impactful initiatives in the future.”

Pink Collar also unveiled Pakistan’s first exclusive online job portal for women, offering access to a wide range of career opportunities. The platform aims to dismantle barriers and foster a more inclusive job market where women can thrive.
