KARACHI: Anti-Corruption Court, Sukkur rejected the pleas for police remand of Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) leader Murtaza Jatoi and granted bail to two Revenue Officers in case of occupying government property.

The Sindh Anti-Corruption Establishment on Friday formally implicated GDA leader Murtaza Jatoi in a case of occupying state property in Moro, district Naushero Feroze with the connivance of revenue and municipal officials.

Both arrested accused, Assistant Commissioner Zain Channa and Tapedar Aijaz Laghari, presented in Anti-Corruption Court, Sukkur for remand for further investigation of the case. ACE Investigation Officer Inspector Muhammad Zaman Circle Officer of ACE Naushero Feroze also prayed to the court for remand of Murtaza Jatoi.

Shayam Lal ladhani, Special Judge of Anti-Corruption Court, Sukkur rejected the pleas and accepted the bail pleas of two Revenue Officials by discharging them of charges under section 63 of Criminal Procedure Code on personal bonds of Rs10,000 each.
